konversation seems to update its config or does something else which results in heavy disk seeking activity when you resize the vertical split bar between the chat window and the user list

confirmed. my little lamp indicating disk-activity flashes like hell when moving the splitter. ( konvi 0.19+ #3108)

Fixed in svn trunk, will be in 0.20. Thanks for your report.
