Description Ferdinand Gassauer 2006-02-09 22:46:47 UTC
Version: 1.2 (using KDE 3.5.1 Level "a" , SUSE 10.0 UNSUPPORTED)
Compiler: Target: x86_64-suse-linux
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.13-15-default

Hi!
the OK button is hidden behind the taskbar, the window can't be resized.

one has to hide the taskbar to get access to the OK/Cancel buttons

IMHO the window higth should be resizable

Works for me. KDE 3.5.5/kontact 1.2.3 Kubuntu 6.10 (edgy). If I change my resolution to 800x600, the dialog displays the OK/Cancel button ok.
Comment 2 Ferdinand Gassauer 2006-10-29 13:59:23 UTC
works for me too
Comment 3 Peter Lewis 2008-03-19 15:38:34 UTC
Hi, this is still a problem on KDE 4 SVN for me. I'm using a laptop with resolution 1280x800 and even if the taskbar is moved out of the way, I still can't see the buttons.

Thanks.

Plus, I know this old bug is listed as "wishlist" but it really makes the latest KMail unusable on a brand-new laptop :-(

Reopening.

For the worst case, the work around is to drag&drop the configuration dialog by pressing the Alt key and moving the window with the left mouse key.
Still, the dialog is much too large, 800x600 minus the panel should be the most!

Fixed in trunk (rev: 818943)

Move IMAP settings to a new tab.
Name should change for 4.2, but will have to be "Advanced" for 4.1 as
there is a strings freeze.
