Description kim Lux 2006-02-07 16:27:23 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux

Konqueror handles some scrolling displays fine and others cause X and konqueror to go to 100% cpu usage. I find this very irritating.

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/ has a scrolling list of clickable articles. X runs at 1 to 3% while I'm reading this page.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3032072/ has a scrolling list of stock tickers. X runs at 1 to 3% while I'm reading this page. So far so good. If I click on "Toyoto profit boosted by strong NA sales" and thus go to http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11214812/, the combination of X and konqueror go to 100% cpu usage.
