No problem: I select an album. I pick a photo in this album and set it as the Album Thumbnail. The Album Folder is replaced by this thumbnail. --> Fine (Snapshot1) Then I rename the same photo with a different name. --> Here the display is still fine (but probably because not refreshed) (Snapshot2) Then I select a different album and back the original album --> The folder thumbnail is lost the default folder is displayed (Snapshot3) Probably that when renaming the file you forgot to update the thumbnail field at the album level that still point to the former filename.

I mark this bug as solved as I cannot reproduce it under digikam 0.9.0-svn
