Version: 0.12.10 (using KDE KDE 3.5.1) Installed from: Mandriva RPMs Compiler: gcc-4.0.2 OS: Linux k3b-i18n-0.12.10 doesn't include ja.po (Japanese). You can get it from http://i18n.kde.org/stats/gui/trunk/ja/extragear-multimedia/index.php
IMHO, you should contact coordinator of your language team. A simply svn cp will solve this problem.
"extragear-multimedia" had already included (old) Japanese k3b catalogue files, but k3b-i18n doesn't have them. http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/k3b/k3b-i18n-0.12.10.tar.bz2?download I think Sebastian missed them. As for revised Japanese files, http://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=21035 I've already sent them to Komoda-san [= kde-ja coordinator]. :-) He will upload them soon. Thanks for comments.
How is this a bug???????????
I only include the i18n files from the stable branch.
All the k3b related files (i.e. k3b.po, k3bsetup.po, libk3b.po,and libk3bdevice.po) have been committed to stable branch. So could you please make sure they'll be included in k3b-i18n-0.12.12? BTW, I'v noticed that some other languages such Basque, Finish, Galician and Tajik are not included in k3b-i18n-0.12-11 either. Is that because one of the above-mentioned files was missing in trunk when k3b-0.12.0 was released? For Finish, for example, there are k3b.po (83.49%), k3bsetup.po (97.22%) and libk3bdevice.po (68.75%) in trunk but libk3b.po is not translated at all.
I am using a script for the package creation which only includes those languages which contain all files. I think that's quite reasonable. So if one wanted to include partially translated languages, one could simply commit empty files. BTW: if ja is in the stable branch it will automatically be included in k3b 0.12.12
Thanks for the clarification. It would be nice if you can post the *tip* to the kde-i18n-doc ML. :) Not many people would read this bug report which contains 'Japanese' in the summary...
