Description Julien Narboux 2006-02-03 19:49:23 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

When you select two or more pictures in digikam, it could allow to compare them
using the same kind of widget as the preview widget for color changes.

Wouldn't it be easier to just have possibility of multiple instances of
image editor (bug 103351)?
Comment 2 Julien Narboux 2006-02-04 01:57:04 UTC
I think these are two different wishes.
What I mean is a bit more than opening two instances, sometime it is easier to compare pictures by looking at them side by side. But ok it is harder to
implement.

Aperture has this kind of feature :

When opening two instances you can use window manager to place them in
manner allowing for comparison. Also multiple instances are allowing for
other things.

Julien,

this file sound like a duplicate of future LightTable tool reported by Oliver on #135048
