From reading posts and bug reports it is clear that thousands of Konsole users are experiencing difficulties selecting/adding fonts to Konsole. Although this is not a Konsole bug, the Konsole documentation could be very helpful if it were improved in that respect. Even though this is more of a KDE/Linux distribution problem, from a user's perspective, Konsole is the starting point for font-related difficulties.The Konsole handbook should provide hints as to how to solve the problem wrt KDE or distributions.
For example for Debian and Debian-related distributions (Ubuntu, Kubuntu, etc.) see instructions in /usr/share/doc/konsole/README.Linux-font

This menu is no longer in KDE4.  Konsole will use what font's it finds the system.  The OS should handle adding fonts.
