Version: 0.11.1 (using KDE 3.5.1, Kubuntu Package 4:3.5.1-0ubuntu0breezy1 ) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.12-10-686 protocol MSN - version 0.11.1 It is only possible to start one webcam at a time. exp 1: - send your webcam and wait until it works (kopete) - now request the other party webcam (who is a real msn program) - the other party receives the demand and answers yes bug: I never receive the other party window exp 2: - request the other party webcam (which is on real msn program) - wait until the other party accepts and you receive the video - now send your webcam - the other party receives a cam receive request and answer yes bug: nothing happens after that my cam is not started by kopete My feeling is that kopete mixes the 2 webcam status variables, ie webcamsendstatus and webcamreceivestatus, thus if one is set as active the other is set too and then is not activated by kopete, since it is already marked as active. hope i am clear enough :) ...
Strange because with another party that uses msn7.5, it seems to work well. My 'problem' party uses msn 7.5 and msn+3 but this only cause problem with kopete, not with other msn peers...
Fixed upstream (0.12)
I am sorry to say that but it looks like here it is not fixed :> if i send my cam, the other party see it, and whet he sends his to me, for him it is like it is ok, but i dont see it. and if i receive his, and i send mine, it answer yes and it he is waiting to see mine but it never happens.
absolutely this is not fixed in 0.12 - it works only sometimes. but the program still confuse states between both webcam sessions. sometimes in MY webcam window the title indicated it is the webcam of my peer friend !
here the same, can't get it workin' with both cams, kopete 0.11.91....
Fixed in SVN commit 526579
