Description Tristan Miller 2006-02-01 00:41:46 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

The Run Command should have an optional field allowing the user to specify a working directory. The system should then cd into this directory before executing the command. This feature is important as some programs depend on being run in a particular directory.

This should be reassigned to the product Krunner for KDE 4.

These UI options don't exist anymore, but you can try https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/i7nfhs/shellrunner_now_allows_setting_env_variables_when/ which also makes it really easy to change the working directory with an env variable.
