Description Nicholas Sushkin 2006-01-27 23:06:25 UTC
Version: 1.5 (using KDE 3.5.0, compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.5
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.12.3

In an entity-relationship diagram, I am unable to associate an entity with itself.

I select the association tool, click on an entity, and drag. If I click on the same entity, I get an error dialog "incorrect use of association". Also, I am not able to add segments to the assosiation line as I drag it.

The only association type available in entity diagrams is the
crow's foot. So the first step would be to make available other
types of associations. Is that correct? Any ER people around?

On the current trunk version it is possible to have an entity with a relationship to itself :-)
