Description arne anka 2006-01-24 12:32:08 UTC
Version: 1.3.8 (using KDE 3.5.0, Debian Package 4:3.5.0-3 (testing/unstable))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15

at least the podcast default-save-menu should be configurable in settings->configure amarok.
i had to search the bugzilla to find out the rmb->configure in playlist->podcasts->[name].

Save locations can be different for different feeds. Regardless, someone else might have to search the bugzilla to figure out thats its in the amarok configuration.

that's correct. but a _default_ location should be configrable globally.

how would that possibly happen? what else is the meaning of a configuration-menu than concentrating everything configurable at _one_ spot?

and btw: there seems to be no entry in the help pointing out the way to configure the location. helpcenter's search for "podcast" gave literally nothing and the toc of the amarok help does not show anything related to configuring that location.

why is that issue resolved invalid? your answert did in now way neither solve the issue nor give meaningful rationale for that.

People have trouble finding stuff in the configuration window all the time. We even get requests regarding features that already exist there. Config options suck really. Luckly podcasts are still perfectly usable without knowing where they are.

I trust your perfectly correct regarding lack of documentation, we would appreciate any help in this matter.
