Description Joergen Ramskov 2006-01-20 16:09:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

It would be nice if it somwhere in the interface was possible to see the name of the playlist that is currently loaded.

It would be impossible to manage something like this. The moment that tracks are added/removed it is no longer that playlist!!

Maybe after the playlist refactor
Comment 2 Modestas Vainius 2010-09-21 00:50:47 UTC
What about doing it for Amarok 2? You can read http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=459856 to see why a Debian user thinks it could be useful.

P.S. So I'm reopening this bug. Feel free to close it with different justification as you see appropriate.

Modestas, reopening wishes from 1.4 is not a good idea, especially not if those are closed by developers. Please open a new report with a detailed rationale, for the correct component which would be saved playlists.
Comment 4 Modestas Vainius 2011-01-14 22:58:38 UTC
The name of currently loaded playlist is still nowhere to be seen (or at least I don't see it). Why can't you just reassign the bug to the proper place and save us both some time? What's the point to open dupes?
Comment 5 Myriam Schweingruber 2011-01-15 10:48:14 UTC
The demand didn't change since, please make a new report against a recent Amarok version, 2.3.2 or 2.4, to be released today.
