Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.3) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages I have a lot of windows. I spend a fair amount of time searching for windows in the taskbar. This is partially made difficult by the low-contrast color scheme I've got but the bigger problem is the lack of order. If I could choose any method for ordering the widows, I would make it sorted by the following things (in decreasing importance): Application Name (xterm, firefox, etc) Initial window title Order of application start I would happy enough with twm's behavior: sort on current window title. Obviously other folks may want something different so I'm asking that KDE have yet another configuration option. (There needs to be a search engine for finding where to configure things!) Thanks, -Dave
Hello Dave, maybe you want a task button reorder facility? Then you might want to have a look at bug #46333 ( http://bugs.kde.org/votes.cgi?action=show_bug&bug_id=46333 ). ciao, Xuân.
Kicker is currently unmaintained, you can look to your distribution for help, however.
Git commit a7186e03d84087ca0e4f4d7889d69a102b0c6af9 by Ian Wadham. Committed on 09/10/2014 at 22:11. Pushed by ianw into branch 'KDE/4.14'. Related: bug 337742 In July 2014, the bugs.kde.org database switched to v4.4.5 of Bugzilla and cookies were no longer accepted, causing bug 337742. This patch uses the new security system, based on tokens, and implements the future use of passwords only, whenever Bugzilla changes to the announced v4.5.x. It also avoids a crash in Dr K on Apple OS X when KCookieJar is not found.
