Version: dev-0.12 (using KDE KDE 3.5.0) Installed from: Fedora RPMs Compiler: gcc 4.0.2 OS: Linux If you open a chatwindow in kopete and then switch to another tab in the same window or if you switch to another desktop and back, the text in the message part of the window is scrolled up a few lines. I noticed it in irc, but I don't know if it happens in other procols too or not.
See my Comment #2 of Bug 95362: "Using tabbed chatting all newly opened tabs scroll down correctly but when cycling around and getting back to the very first tab its content has moved "up" so that I have to scroll down (using today's cvs)." Additional information: For me the scrolling-up only happens when new tabs are added to the chat window. Only to the already open one and only once.
Just a "me too". Always noticed it but never reported it as a bug.
Looks like it only happens when there is a horizontal scrollbar or if the date doesn't fit on 1 line with the message author (date comes outside the box).
Seems to be independent of horizontal scrollbar presence for me.

It happens to me too, with any protocol. I'm using kONE skin.
This works for me in trunk r828808.
This should be fixed in the next release of KDE 4.1. If it's still a problem, please feel free to reopen.
