Description Marius Kotsbak 2006-01-06 01:37:08 UTC
Version: 0.11 (KDE 3.5 RC1) (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

The official client supports viewing thumbnails of pictures, text etc and link to users published Personal MSN Space (see http://spaces.msn.com), which include pictures, blog etc.

Some users has restricted access to to the page to those on their contact list, so it seems like the official MSN client is doing some sort of authentication to the website (probably similar to checking hotmail from MSN).

If you can find a site that document how to access that feature (howto retrieve URL on the MSN spaces blog) when we will be able to add this feature.

I found some information on this:

The "<hasSpace>true</hasSpace>" flag is mentioned at http://msnpiki.msnfanatic.com/index.php/MSNP13:Contact_List

Some more details are also described in the section "Dynamic Items" at the same page. I'm not sure if enough information is available yet to implement this.

Yeah, this is for MSNP13 that is with Windows Live Messenger(MSN Messenger 8) which is still in closed beta.

We are using MSNP11 (7.x)

moving this wish to the WLM plugin
Comment 5 Andrew Crouthamel 2018-11-08 14:10:26 UTC
Hi there, sorry for the bad news, but WLM has been discontinued by Microsoft, so this bug will be closed.

Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone!
