Version: 3.5 (using KDE KDE 3.5.0) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc-3.4.4 OS: Linux Occurs in Konqueror, Konsole and Kaffeine. Check the screenshots for Kaffeine. 1) I have Kaffeine with Initial geometry. Here the edges of the top and bottom of Kaffeine merges or overlaps with the edges of the monitor screen and the edge of the taskbar, respectively. Screenshot # 1 2) Now I go to Fullscreen. 3) Now I return from Fullscreen and expect Kaffeine to restore it's initial geometry. But's it's not. Instead it's maximized. Screenshot # 2 4) This does NOT occur when I have Kaffeine resized to say to the centre without overlapping any of the edges or with just one edge overlapping as shown in Screenshot # 3. If I remember correct this didn't happen in earlier versions of KDE. But then again who am I to trust my memory ;-)
Created attachment 14128 [details] Screenshot # 1 -> Initial Geometry of Kaffeine
Created attachment 14129 [details] Screenshot # 2 -> Restored to Maximized state instead of Initial state
Created attachment 14130 [details] Screenshot # 3 -> All is well with this Initial Geometry
I can reproduce this on my 3.5.0 setup with Kaffeine, Konqueror and Konsole. This may be in same ballpark as #68106 and may be fixed in a similar fashion.
Fixed in the 3.5 branch with SVN revision 494303 - not sure why Bugzilla didn't pick it up.
