Description Willie Sippel 2005-12-31 17:00:20 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
OS: Linux

Spinboxes are not exactly great for tablet input, so a special replacement widget for tablet users would be extremely useful. There are several possible ways to control such a widget: drag left (or down)/ right (or up), tilt left/ right or draw a circle CCW/ CW to decrease/ increase. Tilt could be a problem, though, as only the Wacom Intuos series supports tilt AFAIK...? OTOH, tilt would be best, as it works perfectly for dragboxes near the screen/ tablet border, and allows for much more precise control (map increment/ decrement speed to the tilt angle)...

Well, only one of the Krita developers has a wacom pad with tilt, so tilt probably won't be in it, but I'm working on a control with a dropdown slider, which should be usable with just a pen.
