Description Oswald Buddenhagen 2005-12-30 18:02:35 UTC
Version: 0.9.0-svn (using KDE 3.5.0, compiled sources)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.14

my camera (canon powershot A60) has the "nice" feature of shutting down after the usb port was inactive for a while. of course digikam reports an error in this case when i try to download an image. however, i'd expect digikam to be able to fetch images again once the camera is powered on again - but it does not. i have to close the camera view and reopen it, wait for the image listing to complete, and if i happen not to remember the exact image number, i have to wait for the thumbnails to be downloaded again (why aren't they cached, btw?) - quite a patience strainer with a 1gb flash card and usb 1.0.
