Description Daniel Nicoletti 2005-12-28 18:22:12 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: Slackware Packages
Compiler: gcc 3.3.6
OS: Linux

Well It happens only when I `end the current session`. Not every time but almost always. I hv I laptop that this issue doesnt happen! I tried to reinstall the distro, re-update the kernel but with both 2.6.13 and 2.6.14.5 it happens and I re download all the packages of the kde 3.5.
After click on end the current session the black screen showsup and the bug report appears and after while the taskbar with the clock the K menu shows and still completly functional.
I there is anything that I can do for help just call me, those older versions worked fine..
Thanks

I think that was something installed on my laptop that solves that bug may a lib. The thing is if you do a fresh install of slack 10.2 or slack-current, using full install and after all installed you just restart and upgradepkg all the packages of kde3.5 you will have this error: startx, after all loaded click on K menu and ask for end the session click to end the current session and you'll see what I'm talking about!! somehow on my lap this bug disaper but I did a new slack install and receive the same error!!

After a lot o tries I realized that if I do ctrl + alt + del and end the current session I dont hv this problem, but if I just click on the K menu and use ctrl + alt + del the problem appears, looks like the bug is on K menu.
