Description Anders Bruun Olsen 2005-12-25 03:05:34 UTC
Version: 0.8.0 (using KDE KDE 3.4.3)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

It would be nice to be able to close the view/edit window by pressing escape. Just assigning escape to the "Quit" shortcut does not seem to be enough.

Anders,

Yes, it's not possible to assign ESC key with Image Editor duing a conflic with Slideshow|Fullscreen mode witch use already this key...

...but with digikam 0.9.0, a new image preview mode have been added (Press F3 on album view). ESC key is used to toogle on/off this mode. It's not enough for you ?

I guess that will do. The point was just to have a quick way to view images and navigate back to the album with just a few easy keyboard shortcuts.

Closing this, because F3-view is already a quick way to view images and navigate back to the album with just a few keyboard shortcuts (or mouse clicks).
