Description Andrey Cherepanov 2005-12-22 11:04:20 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
OS: Linux

I'm very pleased to meet SuperKaramba in KDE 3.5. But SuperKaramba has a lot of usability problems:

1. Too large icons in themes list. Possible solution: divide theme install action from installed themes to panel and make separate list for themes with small icons.
2. On install some themes there are many entries in themes list. Solution: show only one record for one theme.
3. Non-intuitive theme removing. Only small number of themes support correct remove. Solution: add "Remove" button to any theme.
4. Good idea: grouped themes view (both installed and in KNewStuff).
5. After install one theme via KNewStuff all other themes made disabled. Only one theme can be installed in this dialog.
6. Good idea to store description and preview diring install theme and show description/preview in main SuperKaramba dialog.

#5 was fixed in knewstuff libs.

All others split into new and separate bugs as they are easier to maintain separately.
