Description Philip Rodrigues 2005-12-21 21:08:46 UTC
Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from:    Compiled From Sources
OS:                FreeBSD

To reproduce:
1. Settings->configure kmail->composer->phrases
2. Set quote indicator to something else (say, ">%f%_")
3. Click OK
4. Open the config dialog again, set the quote indicator back to ">%_" (ie, the default). Click OK
5. Open the config dialog again - the quote indicator is still set to ">%f%_".

The same happens for any of the other phrases on that page. This could be related to bug 109533.

I confirm that the same happens with me. I use Kubuntu 5.10 and have kamil binaries installed from their repositories.

The same here. KDE 3.5.

A temporary solution is edit the file "$HOME/.kde/share/config/kmailrc" and set quote symbol as you want. Only must find the following text:

  indent-prefix=

and set it to defaults:

  indent-prefix=>%_

This seems to be fixed on r526667. Kishore, can you try with KDE 3.5.2 and see if it works for you too?

Hi Phil,
I just tried this on the new version (3.5.2) and it works fine. Thanks!
