Description Eric Kjeldergaard 2005-12-19 15:47:24 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.3)
Installed from: FreeBSD Ports
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.4 [FreeBSD] 20050518
OS: FreeBSD

Well, as it says, this problem hits me when I'm creating a new tab. It appears that even though a new tab starts out with an empty address bar, it is cleared later in the codepath. All one must do to reproduce is (especially with the system under load) open a new tab (via keyboard shortcut is fastest) and begin typing immediately. It seems to hit hardest if there is a long url history and common starting letters for urls in the history are used. Thiago said that he could reproduce it in #kde or freenode.
