when trying to do an html export, the thumbnail generation is impossible (no rights to write error) if the album has benn remamed.
probably somewhere the rename was not taken into account

well, I can't exactly, because I had to uninstall de 0.8 version (said stable) (I could not afford the exif lost problem) and the 0.7.4 don't have the problem.

but simply I right clic the album name and change it in album properties. then I try to export in html (album/export/export in html), said twice yes at the questions and see a log window. In this window the "thumnail done" is red quoted, impossible to write file

I had to restart digikam to get all running.

Probably there is a bug somewhere in detecting renames, there was another bug report indicating this. I will keep an eye on it, but it seems to be not reproducable.
