Description Felix Berger 2005-12-17 00:40:40 UTC
Version: 1.1.3 (using KDE 3.4.3, Debian Package 4:3.4.3-2 (testing/unstable))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.12.4

Maybe the custom painting somehow interferes with the tooltip stuff.

Which tooltips? There are no tooltips in the feed list. (and neither in the article list). There is a toolTip() method, but that is not used at all.
Comment 2 Felix Berger 2006-01-17 16:25:49 UTC
The treeview on the left side with the feeds shows tooltips for listitems whose text is truncated.

These tooltips are not shown for feed items, that have unread articles and are therefore printed in a bold font with the list of unread articles at the end.

I'm going to upload a screenshot that shows a working tooltip.

Thanks,
Felix

Ah, I see. Confirmed.
Comment 5 Dominik Tritscher 2008-11-09 12:09:18 UTC
Akregator 1.3.3 doesn't show those tooltips at all.
Comment 6 Frank Osterfeld 2008-11-23 15:43:58 UTC
I reenabled tooltips in trunk (4.2), for all feeds and folders, no matter whether their title fits the column or not.
