Version: 0.5 (using KDE 3.5.0, Kubuntu Package 4:3.5.0-0ubuntu0breezy1 breezy) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.12-10-386 I made an Update to 0.5 and after this, kpdf crashes when I open it by klicking on a pdf file. When I open kpdf without mensioning a file, it opens without problems. But when you open a file, only emty pages apear. A call from shell looks like this: maxx@laptop:~/fhm/5t/numerik/pdf$ kpdf leist5.pdf Bogus memory allocation size maxx@laptop:~/fhm/5t/numerik/pdf$ The window appears for a very short time.
All pdf documents or only with this one?
KPDF works fine for me on breezy and dapper using the latest security version. Please attach the troublesome file as it may only be triggered by certain files.
I got the exact same problem as Maximilian. Same version of Kubuntu, KDE, kernel, and kpdf. Removing the kpdf package and compiling and installing from SVN solved the problem, as discussed in the #kpdf@freenode channel.

"But when you open a file, only emty pages apear." When I open a file, the program crashes... (Bug 118259) so it's not an exact duplicate.
I'm closing the bug as Andreas Ravnestad that was having the same problem solved it when compiling from svn version, that means it is either a packaging problem from KUbuntu or a problem we have already fixed in svn and that will be in KDE 3.5.1
I'd say it is a packaging problem, as the problem does not manifest itself in my build of 3.5.0 (+patch from advisory-20051207) using konstruct. Cheers.
