Description sam 2005-12-12 16:12:00 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Irix

My kicker is set to a transparent value. When I set the background of kpager to transparent under kpager options > background > transparent... kicker application starts to behave unusually. The mouse hover over kicker(K Panel) application icons causes the icon background to cease being transparent. In addition, the first time the user switches to another desktop via kpager (which is transparent), the entire kicker transparency is removed except for a small area under K Menu's blue KDE icon. This means that kicker is no longer transparent as before, except for a small piece where K Menu icon is located. Resetting kicker's transparency via the 'Configure Panels' dialog corrects this until the user switches to a new desktop at which time the bug reoccurs.

The O.S. is Linux (Kubuntu) and not Irix (my apologies).
