Description Friedrich Strohmaier 2005-12-12 12:31:37 UTC
Version:           1.8.3 (using KDE 3.4.3, Kubuntu Package 4:3.4.3-0ubuntu1 )
Compiler:          Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.12-10-686

I created a filter, that ist exclusively started by an Icon in the toolbar.

this are the settings in .kde/share/config/kmailrc:

[Filter #0]
AutomaticName=true
ConfigureShortcut=true
ConfigureToolbar=true
Icon=
StopProcessingHere=true
action-args-0=drafts
action-args-1=^E
# "failed" which I choose is not transferred here
action-name-0=transfer
action-name-1=fake mdn
actions=2
apply-on=check-mail,manual-filtering
name=fake_MDN
operator=and
rules=0

this is what my filter log viewer says:
------------------------------
[12:18:12] Evaluating filter rules: (match all of the following)
[12:18:12] Filter rules have matched.
[12:18:12] Applying filter action: Move Into Folder "Local Folders/drafts"
[12:18:12] Applying filter action: Send Fake MDN ""

This bug probably relates to bug #91252

Can you please check if the problem does still exist in KMail 1.9.x?
Comment 4 Friedrich Strohmaier 2006-01-17 21:33:50 UTC
I will do so, when upgrading next time.
That might take a while.
Comment 5 Tero Ratilainen 2008-07-05 11:47:13 UTC
This bug still exists, using Kubuntu Hardy 8.04 with KDE 3.5.9 and KDE 4.1 beta 2 packages, it won't send it with either KDE 3 or KDE 4 version.
