Description Jean-Damien Durand 2005-12-10 09:56:59 UTC
Version:            (using KDE Devel)
Installed from:    Compiled sources
OS:                Linux

Minor annoyance, but updating my debian/sid/i386 from 3.4.3 to 3.5.0 packages from alioth, the kminipager settings got lost.
Comment 1 Jean-Damien Durand 2005-12-10 14:49:09 UTC
I checked another box running 3.4.3 and realize that the config file for the minipager applet probably got renamed:
* kminipagerappletrc for KDE 3.5.0
* minipager_panelapplet_<something>_rc for KDE 3.4.3
If that is correct I understand better why the setting got lost; config file is not the same (and better with 3.5.0 btw). Do you think it would be worth to check if there exist an 3.4.3 config file where there is no yet a 3.5.0 config file at startup of the minipager? Then a 3.5.0 file could be generated using 3.4.3 content.
Again, for me, this was a minor annoyance; fixed in 20 seconds chrono!
Cheers, JD.

yes, it's a minor annoyance and a fairly annoying thing to fix. i don't think this issue will get addressed, to be honest.

Way, way too minor indeed.
