Description Francisco Del Cueto 2005-12-09 21:12:38 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

Hello,

I'm using Suse9.3 and I upgrade my KDE to KDE3.5 using the rpms from the kde.org for suse9.3. The crash is systematic, everytime that I logout from an account that uses KDE, there is a segmentation fault and the crash happens. I removed all the applets and all the panels with the exception of the KDE menu and the crashes still is there. I create a new account to make sure there where not bad configurations or preferences, and it didn't help either.

I can reproduce the problem if while I'm logged in I killall Kicker then I have a signal 11 and it is mentioned in the dialog that "The application was asked to save its documents". By the way I make sure that all folders and preferences where with the proper +rw rights

"the logout crash" didn't strike you as a possible duplicate?
