Version:           1.9 (using KDE 3.5.0, PLD Linux Distribution)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.6 (PLD Linux)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.14

Signatures are often asciiarts or quotes in languages different than an email being composed. There should be option to disable spellchecking of the signature.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
