Description Martijn Pieters 2005-12-07 13:05:25 UTC
Version: 1.3.6 (using KDE KDE 3.4.3)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

I'd like to tag artists, albums and tracks with arbitrary tags, like Last.fm allows, and like many photo-collection tools allow you to tag photos (think Flicr, F-Spot, etc). This tag information by it's nature needs to be stored in amaroK, not in the music files (the tags are not traditional music metadata).

Tagging should be as easy as possible, marking multiple artists, albums and/or tracks, and providing tags for these should be not involve right-clicking if possible.

Tags can then be used to create playlists (dynamic or otherwise). Tags placed on an artist or album should be used to select tracks matching the tags.

Added bonus points for integrating this with Last.fm tags, but I am not sure Last.fm exposes anything beyond top tags.
