Description Aaron Williams 2005-11-30 03:00:16 UTC
Version: 1.2.0 (using KDE 3.5.0 Level "a" , SUSE 10.0 UNSUPPORTED)
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-15-athlon-preempt

It would be very useful if there were a way to highlight a task from the process list in the task bar in Kicker or some other way. For example, I will sometimes have a browser window that is consuming a lot of CPU and it would be nice to at a glance be able to highlight which browser window is the culprit and correct the action.

The wish is not implemented yet, but FYI: KSysGuard in KDE4 now shows window titles in the process list.
Comment 2 Aaron J. Seigo 2007-11-28 19:35:17 UTC
SVN commit 742715 by aseigo:

* allow pulling up of window associated with entry, if any
* fix location of context menu
* sort the context menu a bit so that the kill action, being potentiall destructive, is at the bottom with a separator
