Version: 0.11 (cvs) (using KDE KDE 3.4.3) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Compiler: gcc-4.0 OS: Linux When KDE starts up, Kopete pops up a message to say "You have 4 unread messages in your MSN inbox". I am usually not interested in the messages, however the modal dialog ends up being placed under dozens of other windows generated during KDE start up. Due to bug #72911, modal dialog boxes cause taskbar icons to freeze up, as I cannot see the modal dialog, it gives the impression that Kopete has crashed. Even though I know Kopete hasn't crashed, it takes me a while to find the modal dialog under the other windows. Apparently it is impossible to fix #72911, but perhaps we could work around it by using non-modal dialog boxes for notifications in Kopete?
I can use Kopete from KDE-3.5.9 regularly when the described popup message appears (messaging with contacts, etc). So I guess that this wishlist item is already implemented by now?
