Description George Seaton 2005-11-24 14:06:56 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc 3.4.4-2
OS: Linux

After compiling and installing aKode I couldn't compile kdemultimedia 3.5-RC1 without adding the following links

/usr/lib/libsoundserver_idl.so
/usr/lib/libkmedia2_idl.so
/usr/lib/libartsflow.so
/usr/lib/libartsflow_idl.so
/usr/lib/libmcop.so

Those are created by default.
Comment 2 George Seaton 2005-11-25 12:46:44 UTC
Not on my 3.5-RC1 installation, I was able to compile kdemultimedia before installing aKode.
Comment 3 Thiago Macieira 2005-11-26 02:59:59 UTC
did you compile aKode from sources as well? And you're telling me that its installation removed those .so files?
Comment 4 Rex Dieter 2005-11-28 19:08:30 UTC
Thiago is right, all those (sym)links should have been created when you installed arts(-1.5.0)
Comment 5 Andreas Kling 2006-08-30 22:42:26 UTC
I'm sure this problem has gone away by now. But do reopen if you still experience it with KDE 3.5.4.
