Description arne anka 2005-11-23 09:33:25 UTC
Version: unknown (using KDE 3.4.2, Debian Package 4:3.4.2-4 (testing/unstable))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.13

there's no "report bug" entry as in other kde-applications. reporting a bug with pre-filled informations on os, version etc requires thus opening anothe kde-application, chosing "report bug" there and scrolling to "krdc" in the list of applications.

I'm changing this to a wish. Also, KRDC is unmaintained at the moment so you shouldn't hold your breath waiting for any changes to be made. :)
Comment 2 arne anka 2005-11-24 09:01:47 UTC
regarding the "wish" -- i would think there's a policy saying everything should have such an entry, thus it's rather a bug than a wish. wrong?
Comment 3 Jaison Lee 2005-11-24 17:01:47 UTC
Given the current status of KRDC, everything is a wish. :) This is just more wish-y than other more concrete problems.
Comment 4 Brad Hards 2006-07-26 13:43:36 UTC
I won't buy into the bug/wishlist nature.

Where would you expect to see this "report bug" capability?
Comment 5 arne anka 2006-07-26 13:55:46 UTC
due to the "slim"-appearance of krdc i think the best thing would be a link like "Example" in the space between the "Help" and "Preferences" buttons.
Comment 6 Brad Hards 2006-07-31 14:07:04 UTC
I think that it might be more appropriate to rebuild krdc as a more normal KDE application (e.g. menu bar, perhaps tabs or IDEAL mode).

Andreas?
Comment 7 Andreas Kling 2006-07-31 14:21:46 UTC
Brad: Definitely. Perhaps something like http://impul.se/~kling/krdc4-sidebar.png ? ;-)
