OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.12-9-k7-smp

I have a Kodak EasyShare V550. I registered it as a USB PTP
class camera. When I select the camera and press the "to
computer" button on the docking station Digikam gets the list
of files available on the camera but is unable to download any of them.

Digikam gives a message:
"Failed to retrieve file 100_0134.JPG from camera"
100_0134.JPG gets replaced with the name of any file I choose,
of course.
