Description John Murphy 2005-11-14 09:32:08 UTC
Version: 1.8.3 (using KDE 3.4.3 Level "b" , SUSE 10.0 UNSUPPORTED)
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-15-default

If an email is formated in HTML (say with font and text colour changes) and then saved to the drafts folder, it retains its HTML when viewed in preview. However, when retrieved it immediately looses its HTML structure - but still claims it is HTML. In fact when sent, it arrives as an HTML mail note.
(IMHO when KMail improves its HTML handling it will outstrip Thunderbird, Outlook etc in the way it allows the user to choose how HTML is used or not. Good luck.)

Same here - 3.5rc1 on freebsd

Same with 1.8.1 under gentoo (kde 3.4.1). I dislike HTML composition, but frankly thats what users want. :( More votes anyone?
