Version: unknown (using KDE 3.4.92 (beta2, >= 20051010), Gentoo) Compiler: gcc version 3.4.4 (Gentoo 3.4.4-r1, ssp-3.4.4-1.0, pie-8.7.8) OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.12-gentoo-r10 Could you integrate iSight Webcam to Kopete (ieee1394) like in gnomemeeting; now you can only use a webcam with v4l-Support, but with iSight this is not possible.
iSight can be used with kopete by using coriander and vloopback - I've got it working perfectly.
you're a gentoo user - great. grab this ebuild http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=111750 install it. install coriander do # modprobe vloopback dev_offset=1 open coriander click to start global iso control move to the services tab click 'receive' and 'v4l' it's that easy :)
