Would like features to group drawings into folders, close/open/reorder drawings, search/jump to drawings.

Well, Umbrello does already have folders.

I'm not sure what you mean by "close/open" but "reorder" is
clearly a useful feature.

selecting a diagram in the tree shows the related diagram has been introduced in version 4.13.0 (https://commits.kde.org/umbrello/162f02213dc47072133df832f731a4f116b516de)

The diagram windows supports reordering diagrams by clicking on the "Name" table header column which has been introduced with version 16.07.80
