Description Daniel Gonzalez Schiller 2005-11-10 14:57:26 UTC
Version: 3.4.2. (using KDE KDE 3.4.3)
Installed from:    Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS:                Linux

It would be very cool if it would be possible to rename a folder/file at the left side of the file-manager, like windows...
right-mouse-click on the folder/file (at the left-side of the file-manager) and rename.
Because now you must clcik on the upper-folder and rename the folder/file on the right side....
that are 3 clicks more than we should need to

thank you very much! and gratulations for your good work!
linux, konqueror the best!

"left side"==sidebar?
Comment 2 Daniel Gonzalez Schiller 2006-03-29 14:25:30 UTC
No.... let me see if i can explain it better...

Konqueror file browser has a left side (with directories) and a right side where you can see the files in this directory...
the thing is, that it isn't possible to change the directory name of a directory by just clicking "right mouse button" on the directory in the "left side"
The option is given but it doesn't work...
you must have the directory in the "right side" to then change the directory name...
you know what i meen?
my version of konqueror is 3.5.1 like kde and my linux is debian unstable
thank you very much for reading
