Description Dominik Karall 2005-10-30 12:29:24 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.92)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

If you open a message in kmail and press Ctrl some shortcuts are shown. But if this shortcut is for example an A it does not work, as A is a shortcut for "Answer all".
Comment 1 Dominik Karall 2005-10-30 12:31:20 UTC
Sorry, wrong platform, it should be "Gentoo", don't know why "debian testing" was selected.
Comment 2 Jaime Torres 2008-09-18 09:48:13 UTC
In kmail 1.10.1, the Ctrl+A is a shortcut for select all (by default).
But I do not see any shortcuts when only pressing Ctrl.

ok, confirmed. The shortcuts the reporter mentions are the access keys. If an access key is also an existing shortcut, the latter will be prefered.

(I'm not sure that's a Kmail issue)

We don't have it in kmail2 Close it
