Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.3) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.3.6 (Gentoo 3.3.6, ssp-3.3.6-1.0, pie-8.7.8) OS: Linux If no wallet is open and I try to load a konqueror view profile which has some ftp URLs, the kwallet password dialog window appears as it should. However, when I enter the correct password, konqueror hangs indefinitely trying to show the sites' contents, displaying the message "Sending login information" in the status bar. If I try to load the same profile when the wallet is already open, everything loads OK.
Could be a duplicate of bug 123583 or bug 126593.
Sorry for the (very) late reply, but I was serving in the army all this time... Judging from the reports, I would say that it is more related to bug 123583. However, in my case, I do not have to kill a process for the kwallet password dialog to appear; konqueror hangs _after_ I enter the password.
I figure this bug is pretty old. Does that still happen for you with a recent version of KDE (4.1+)?
Thank you very much for your interest in this bug! To answer your question, I have just tested the scenario I described in the original report against KDE 4.1.3 (intrepid-backports) and everything worked flawlessly. :) I marked it as WORKSFORME, you may set it to FIXED if you want.
