Description Michael Stather 2005-10-24 00:14:52 UTC
Version: 3.4.91 (using KDE KDE 3.4.91)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

When I´ve files or folders with german characters (umlauts) in them I can open and delete the files correctly but not move or copy them. If I try I get a message that the file doesn´t exist. In the filename the umlaut is replaced by two garbage characters. It looks like konqueror doesn´t recognize the name UTF-8 in the name.
I checked it with a reiserfs filesystem and with vfat filesystems in UTF-8 mode. I´m using SuSE 10.1 Alpha1 and my system locale is UTF-8.
Moving the files via shell is no problem at all.
