I think installation instructions should go into a seperate installation guide. It doesn't fit into a user guide, which should describe stuff that you want to do after installing kdevelop.

I would guess that in most cases people should use packages from their distribution, and don't even need to know about how to install kdevelop.

Looking at the docs for head, it seems this has already been done. Sorry.
