Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.2) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages OS: Linux It would be nice if you could add fr-ca (French Canadian) to the list of availables keyboard layouts in the RDP preferences. This keyboard layout is used by about 7M people. It is called "ca_enhanced" in the KDE control pannel, "French (Canada)" in Microsoft Windows, and "-k fr-ca" is the argument that we need to pass to rdesktop.
This can't be added to KDE 3.5, because of the string freeze. It might be a candidate for KDE4.
As you are at, fr-ch is missing as well... Used in Switzerland of course, and in other coutries which write german and french language. As far as I can see it should be only a matter of adding the fr-ch layout to the available choices, so, out of curiosity, why would a string change be necessary...?
On the same subject... How about (optinoally) detecting the user's keyboard layout and automatically using it...? I guess 99,9% of people want to use *their* keyboard layout...
