If a comment is entered for an image in the "Save Target Image Options" windows then it is not saved in the database.

I tried this with gwenview (which seems to save it in the image as Exif info), and kphotoalbum.

Both save it just fine.

The only things I cna think of is:
- it is another broken host application (from the list it seems it works just fine for digikam)
- the file format was say png, which gwenview could't save exif into.

Which host application did you use?

BTW. If the host application does not support description for the image, the textbox will not be shown at all.
