Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.2) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages OS: Linux To reproduce: 1. Set up a filter that will move mails sent to a particular recipient e-mail address into a specific mail folder, and select checkbox so that it will be applied to sent messages. 2. Send a mail that matches the filter. Expected results: the sent mail will be moved to the chosen folder and will have no particular status flags set. Actual results: mail is correctly moved (after a visit to the local Outbox), but is flagged as "Not Sent". This flag status is confusing and incorrect. Background details: I use DImap folders, and an external SMTP server.
Hm, there is no status "not sent" in KMail 1.9. Seems as if this report has gotten obsolete by the time.
Yes, confirmed.
Actually, this still appears to be broken. (KMail 1.9.1 on KDE 3.5, folder on DIMAP, Dovecot as IMAP server.) I have a mail filter which moves sent messages into a folder A. If I manually select the sent-mail folder in the Compose window to A, then the filed mail is displayed in folder A with a normal status icon and the "Send Again" action is greyed out, which I believe is a bug. If I select a different sent-mail folder in the Compose window, the outgoing filter correctly overrides the destination folder, but when the message is displayed in A it has the slanting "Sent" status icon and "Send Again" is available. The status icon is presumably incorrect, because I never see it for other (ie. unfiltered) sent messages. Let me know if I can answer any questions on this.
