Description Bryson Borg 2005-10-13 07:03:37 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc 3.4.4 gcc version 3.4.4 (Gentoo 3.4.4-r1, ssp-3.4.4-1.0, pie-8.7.8)
OS: Linux

from "remote:/" i want to use "Add a Network Folder" to map a ftp server running on port 50025. the "network folder wizard" will only allow me to enter port numbers up to 9999. if i put in "9999" and then use the up arrow on this box, i can get the number as high as 32768. i can use the ftp server in konquerer by connecting to "ftp://foo@WWW.XXX.YYY.ZZZ:5025/Directory" by putting it into the URL entry in konqueror.

i can crib the format of an appropriate .desktop item and modify the URL line to point to "ftp://foo@WWW.XXX.YYY.ZZZ:5025/Directory" in the .kde3.4/share/apps/remoteview folder. this will work as expected. thus the bug is limited to the "network folder wizard"

thanks for your time

bryson
