Version: 3.4.2 (using KDE 3.4.91 (beta1, >= 20050910), Kubuntu Package 4:3.4.91-0ubuntu1 ) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.12-9-k7 Contacts who don't have an email addresses in Kaddressbook can't be added as taking part to events in Korganizer. It would be good if they could be added even if we don't know their email address, so it can easily be referred to their profile from Korganizer.

Well, they can be added (i.e. typed in manually). They are just not shown in the "email selection" dialog and so you can't select them from a list. That is a drawback, I agree. Is there any simple way to let a user select from all entries of the addressbook, not just the ones with an email address?? Cheers, Reinhold

KO/PI 2.2.7 (on OpenZaurus 3.5.3-snapshot-20051227), behaves correctly (contacts without email addresses are shown as possible participants) in this regard, and according to <http://pim.kde.org/development/meetings/akademy2005/index.php>, it looks like some merging is planned. Please keep this request in mind!
